Hello, World
Starting a blog in 2026 feels both quaint and radical.
Quaint, because the shape of the internet has moved on. Feeds, algorithms, short video. Quaint, because everyone’s attention is elsewhere.
Radical, because owning your own corner of the web — a URL you control, a voice that isn’t being optimized for a platform — is increasingly rare.
So: this is mine.
What goes here
Short things. Long things. Things I’ve figured out. Things I’m still figuring out. Probably too many em-dashes.
I’m not optimizing for anything other than my own curiosity and the small audience that finds their way here.
What doesn’t go here
- Hot takes for engagement
- Content for the sake of content
- Anything I wouldn’t want to re-read in five years
If you want to stick around
There’s a newsletter. It goes out when I have something worth sending, not on a schedule. Sign up on the homepage.
Otherwise, thanks for reading. See you around.
